James Rosenfield is the principal resource at Strategy Works, employing a flexible workforce of contract experts to meet individual project needs.
We are painstaking in the selection of fieldwork suppliers and freelance support. Resources meet strict criteria regarding appropriate experience and proven quality of work.
Since 1980 James has contributed to successful marketing, advertising, and sales programs. His experience in both ad agency and corporate environments has included traditional research, account planning, sales management, new product development, and business development. This affords him a productive understanding of business and creative processes.
From interviewing Fortune's Global 500 CEOs in their offices to conducting focus groups among adolescents in villages of developing countries, James has designed and conducted interviews and group discussions for an astounding array of purposes. Apart from his career experience, James believes that his non-profit work with individuals and groups of widely varying ages and backgrounds has been a critical building block for his ability to conduct truly effective interviews and discussions.
James began his career as a traditional researcher (Grey Advertising, San Francisco), became one of the first American account planners (Chiat/Day Los Angeles), then went on to apply consumer wisdom to a variety of corporate-side opportunities and challenges (American Express Company, New York).
